Why should canned food be packed in negative pressure?
Canning is an important and safe method for preserving food. Manufactured canned foods like sauces, beans, lentils, pastas, tuna,seafood,vegetables and fruits are pantry staples.
Generally vacuum can sealing machine have two function
1.reduce the oxygen content in the tank and reduce the oxidation of food;
2.Once the food inside is rotten and produces gas under the action of anaerobic bacteria, the can lid will bulge, which reminds people that the can is broken and do not eat.
After vacuum sealing why it need to put into Retort ?
Jars or cans are heated to a temperature high enough to destroy the microorganisms that could cause food spoilage and/or foodborne illness. The heating process also removes air from the product and creates a vacuum. This vacuum helps prevent recontamination by harmful microorganisms.
